So, I finally got my hands on a copy of Molly & Poo (off eBay, only $1. See, not everything on eBay is expensive!) and read it the other night. I've been dying to read the rest of it, ever since Terry's excerpt reading at Lee's signing whetted my appetite.

It was far more....ah....STIRRING to the blood that I had anticipated! Hot stuff! I didn't care for the ending, but by then I was on fire anyway. :-)

I really enjoyed it despite several spelling and grammatical mistakes...which reminds me. I've been seeing a few spelling mistakes in SIP that make me feel sort of embarassed for it. (finale/finally, apostrophes for plurals, etc) Of course, I'm overly anal - half of my job is writing, and the other half is proofreading. But I have to hope that these mistakes will stop slipping through, because they pull me out of my reverie and remind me that I'm reading.

Another reason I'm glad I got Molly & Poo - I suddenly understood what the heck Katchoo and Ashley and Francine were talking about in the restaurant!

Were there other Molly & Poo references in SIP that I've missed?

A kindred spirit! Yes, there is a persistent orthographical problem, even on this Web site. (There is no such word as "incestial".) But let's not single out Terry, because LOTS of writer-artists are that way, including Jeff Smith and Colleen Doran. Doodling in grammar school during spelling drills, no doubt. I have come to accept the errors as part of the package. I can correct the spelling in my mind, but I can't improve the art.
Yes, there was a previous reference to Molly in Vol. 3, #14.
